Relevant Legal Bases

In accordance with Article 13 GDPR, we inform you of the legal bases for our data processing. The legal basis for obtaining consent is Article 6(1)(a) and Article 7 GDPR. The legal basis for processing to fulfil our services and implement contractual measures and respond to enquiries is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The legal basis for processing to fulfil our legal obligations is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. The legal basis for processing to protect our legitimate interests is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Security Measures

In accordance with Article 32 GDPR, taking into account the state of the art, we implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk.

Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right to:

You may object to the future processing of your data in accordance with Article 21 GDPR at any time. The objection may in particular be made against processing for direct marketing purposes.

Hosting

The hosting services we use serve to provide this website. For this purpose, the hosting provider processes access data that arises each time this website is accessed. This data includes: the name of the page accessed, date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, a message about successful retrieval, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and the IP address of the requesting computer.

The collection of this data is based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server log files are deleted after a maximum of 30 days.

Contact

When you contact us (e.g. by email or telephone), your details are processed for the purpose of handling the contact enquiry and its processing pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your details may be stored in a customer relationship management system or comparable enquiry management system.

We delete enquiries as soon as they are no longer necessary. The necessity is reviewed every two years. Statutory archiving obligations apply.

Web Analytics with Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics helps us understand which content resonates with our visitors and continuously improve our website.

Google Analytics 4 is loaded exclusively with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

We operate Google Analytics with IP anonymisation (anonymize_ip) enabled. Google Signals and advertising features for personalised advertising (allow_ad_personalization_signals) are disabled. As a result, no cross-device user profiles are created for advertising purposes.

The following data is processed, among other things: pages viewed, time on page, click paths, approximate location (country/region, derived from the truncated IP address), device and browser used, source/referrer, and interactions with our contact form (conversion event "generate_lead").

When using Google Analytics, data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA. Google has self-certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection.

The storage duration of data collected by Google is by default 2 months (event data) and 14 months (user data). For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Web Analytics with Microsoft Clarity

This website uses Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland ("Microsoft"). Microsoft Clarity records, among other things, mouse movements, clicks and scrolling behaviour, and creates session recordings and heatmaps to help us better understand how our website is used and to improve its usability.

Microsoft Clarity is loaded exclusively with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can enable or disable Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity independently in the cookie settings in the footer and revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Input fields (e.g. form fields) are masked by Microsoft Clarity by default, so that no entered text or passwords are recorded in plain text. The following data is processed, among other things: interactions on the page (clicks, mouse movements, scrolling behaviour), pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location (country/region, derived from the IP address), and referrer URL.

This involves setting the following cookies, among others: _clck (stores a user ID to recognise the visitor across sessions, approx. 1 year), _clsk (links multiple page views within one session, 1 day), CLID (identifies the first Clarity session, approx. 1 year), as well as MUID, MR, ANONCHK and SM (Microsoft's own identifiers for session and device recognition).

When using Microsoft Clarity, data may be transferred to Microsoft servers in the USA. Microsoft Corporation has self-certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of data protection.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
